How long does shipping take?
Standard delivery takes 4–7 working days across India; express takes 2–3. Orders are packed and dispatched within 1–2 working days, and tracking is emailed on dispatch.
What makes Lakadong turmeric different?
Curcumin. The Lakadong cultivar assays between 7% and 12%, and VIROOT packs only lots that test 10% or above — two to four times ordinary commercial turmeric. It carries a Geographical Indication tag because the variety cannot be faithfully grown outside the Jaintia Hills of Meghalaya.
What does TGSEB mean?
Tellicherry Garbled Special Extra Bold — the top sieve grade of Indian black pepper. Only fully matured berries above 4.75 millimetres qualify, roughly the top 10% of the Malabar harvest.
How should I store the spices?
Away from light, away from steam, away from the stove. Keep the pack sealed or decant into an airtight jar. Ground turmeric keeps its colour and aroma best used within 12 months of the packing date printed on the pack.
Are your spices tested and certified?
Every pack carries its batch number, harvest month, packing date, and FSSAI licence details. Our turmeric carries a Geographical Indication tag and bought from NPOP-certified organic farms that we found and verified during our own certified years. Do you add anything to the spices?
No. No artificial colour, no preservatives, no fillers, no anti-caking agents. The gold you see is the gold the soil gives.
Can I return a product?
Opened food products cannot be returned for food-safety reasons. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items are replaced or refunded within 7 days of delivery — see our Shipping & Returns page.
Do you ship outside India?
